Amy Russo, Adam Torine, and Mayor Brian Andrews
CRANFORD, NJ -When Toast City Diner first opened its doors in Montclair in 2007, they had a mantra: “Peace, Love & Pancakes.” Since then, they’ve expanded to Asbury Park, Red Bank, and now Cranford while striving to stay true to that saying.
Owner Amy Russo partnered with Adam Torine for their newest location at 10 Walnut Avenue. Amy told TAPinto Cranford that Torine has been scouting locations and walked past The Red Crab. “We really loved that corner,” said Russo, so they reached out to their representatives in case they decided to leave. “Four months later we got a call back—it was kismet.” A few calls later, the Toast team had secured the location.
